How's Your Health: an overview

How’s Your Health? is a new blog for the spring 2012 semester. Our five authors are all current students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with interests in the field of health. We are all students grouped together based off of our common interests with the task of creating a successful and intriguing blog. While health is the common thread within the group, each of us take a specific interest in nutrition, orthopedics, pediatrics, or obstetrics. Among these diverse interests, we will still provide our readers with posts that all relate to human health.
On How’s Your Health? readers should expect to read posts relating to current health issues. The faithful readers of How’s Your Health? should expect to be updated on issues relating to current topics such as obesity, mental health, fitness, and disease. We will incorporate these within three major subject areas: the natural sciences, the social sciences, and the humanities. We will present these health related issues in a casual way that will appeal to the everyday reader. We do not expect our faithful readers to be familiar with a bunch of science/medical jargon. Our only purpose is to inform people about current health issues in a way that everyone will enjoy and understand. We are all interested in the topics that we will be discussing and we hope that you will be too. Meet our authors:
